Skin Aging

Aging is a programmed task of our body starting the day we are born. All of our organs age and suffer decreased function in time. However, the only organ where we can see these changes with the naked eye is our skin. Our skin is a kind of window of our internal organs that opens outwards. The signs of many functional disorders in the body are visible on our skin. The most important of these is aging.

Although skin aging is a physiological process, it roughly develops due to internal (genetic) and external (photoaging) factors. Internal aging depends on the genetics of the person and is an unavoidable process for now. However, studies to prevent the genetics-related changes occurring with aging continue with the progress of genetics. External aging however can be prevented and/or delayed and is mainly caused by sun rays, air pollution, smoking, alcohol, malnutrition and hormonal factors. Sun rays are quite important among the external factors. So, taking some precautions to protect ourselves from the damage caused by sun rays and using sunscreen is perhaps the greatest favor that one can do for oneself. However, completely preventing aging is not possible. With the increase in life expectancy nowadays, the interest in delaying aging has also increased. A wide variety of dermocosmetic applications can now be used for this purpose. However, the main principle is to use only the necessary procedures at the required dose.

Dermocosmetic procedures used for this purpose can be summarized as follows:

  • Stem cell (Fibroblast)
  • Botox Application (Botox or Dysport)
  • Filler Applications
  • Dermapen – Dermaroller (Microneedling) Applications
  • Chemical Peeling
  • PRP ((Platelet Rich Plasma)
  • Mesotherapy
  • Youth Vaccine with Salmon DNA
  • Facial Rejuvenation with Laser (Laser Lifting)
  • Laser Treatment of Dilated Capillaries
  • Photorejuvenation with Light Systems (IPL-BBL)
  • Fractional Laser Applications
  • Focused Ultrasound Systems
  • Radiofrequency Systems
  • Scarlet S (Gold Microneedle – Fractional Radiofrequency)
  • Thread Face Lifting
